Fully licensed and insured, our services include:
Full House Inspection
A house inspection is important for home buyers because it provides you with accurate and unbiased information on the true condition of the house. Not all home inspectors are the same! Many of the franchise companies and so called 'home inspector schools' pump out inspectors as fast as they can and,as a result, many of these 'inspectors' are not adequately knowledgeable. Do you want to put your trust in such a person, or do you want a qualified and 'seasoned' inspector protecting your interest?
Individual Component Inspection
Don't need a full house inspection, or only have questions on part of the building? WHI offers the same quality inspection on individual components.
Rental Weatherization (DILHR) Inspection
Fulfills the state code requirement for properties that are to be used as rentals and the owner will not live in them.
Find out where you can improve your homes' efficiency and save money on your energy bills. WHI uses specialized equipment to test for marginal or missing insulation and moisture problems inside of your walls.
Lead Hazard Risk Assessments
Lead is a dangerous health hazard. WHI can provide you with detailed information regarding existing and/or potential Lead hazaards in your property, and what measures can be taken to make the property safer. This should be a high priority for rental properties to help reduce Lead poisonings and possible law-suits.
VMAP Housing Quality Inspections
The Visual Maintenance Assessment Program (VMAP) is a basic property inspection used by landlords and homeowners alike to be sure their properties remain in good condition and to be able to make repairs before the damage becomes expensive. The VMAP inspection helps a landlord keep track of their property manager to be sure they are maintaining the property adequately and are not charging for unecessary repairs, or repairs that were not made.
